Unite Caribbean plays a key role in assessing the current state of glass recycling in Trinidad and Tobago including, identifying systemic bottlenecks. By leveraging its expertise in circular economy strategies and waste management challenges, Unite Caribbean is increasing public participation in glass recycling and ensuring efforts are inclusive, sustainable and scalable. 

Actions of Unite Caribbean 

  • *Assessment of the current state and historical efforts of glass recycling in Trinidad and Tobago 
  • *Identification and engagement of key stakeholders in the glass recycling process, including public and private actors. 
  • *Determine the major challenges hindering effective glass collection. 
  • *Design of a multi-stakeholder action plan to enhance glass recovery and public engagement. 
  • *Provision of recommendations for a sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective glass recycling framework.
