Following its support of numerous associative actors in their post-Irma recovery and reconstruction efforts, the Fondation de France has mandated Unite Caribbean to pilot a coaching program. This program, conducted with a diverse sample of associations, aims to test coaching techniques and capacity building in structuring, management and development.

After an operational diagnosis phase conducted on about twenty associations in the territory, a targeting based on predefined criteria was carried out, leading to the realization of support plans for 7 associations that will be followed individually for 10 months. This support includes :

a structural axis that articulates collective engineering sessions carried out in a coordinated manner with our partner Initiative Saint-Martin Active within the framework of the Local Support System (DLA) that it pilots, regular individualized coaching sessions for the associations’ management teams and the development of a management toolbox optimizing the structures’ practices in terms of administration and finance, logistics, HR management, governance, project cycle and monitoring/evaluation.

a technical axis offering the possibility to the supported structures to benefit from specific services in their core business in order to reinforce the practices of their teams (care of women victims of violence, internal and external communication of a social actor, realization of a business plan, street mediation, etc.)

a network axis that seeks to encourage and stimulate the development of collective dynamics on the territory and in the region.
