Resources mobilized

The experts mobilized by UNITE Caribbean to lead the mission are  :
- Didier VEYRIER, Head of Mission and Senior Aviation Expert
- Fabrice DANET, Airport Director and Aviation Expert
- Thomas CHOLLET, Associate Expert
The AAN began the certification process in the first quarter of 2018 by asking UNITE Caribbean to carry out an inventory of regulatory compliance at Port-au-Prince International Airport. At the end of this preliminary mission carried out by UNITE Caribbean's high-level Caribbean experts, a Corrective Accompaniment Plan (CAP) was presented to the AAN authorities to initiate the necessary corrective actions to achieve ICAO standards before the certification audit.

In March 2019, a second phase of support for the AAN began to prepare the manager to submit a first application for certification to the OFNAC authority by the end of 2019, and to maintain the momentum of continuous improvement initiated. To achieve the objectives of this support, UNITE Caribbean supports the AAN for one year around three main areas of work:
Assistance in the preparation of the certification application file, in particular the drafting of the Aerodrome Manual and its associated procedures
Operational implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)
3. Assistance in the management of Operations and preparation for certification audits
